I'm an indomitable optimist for the most part. I'm certainly not going to give up now. I spent my adult life as a restaurant chef, which is my first passion and will always be something I love dearly. Unfortunately, for health reasons, working in a kitchen and my health issues seem to be irreconcilable at the moment so I've gone back to school. I recently had to give up my apartment because I have gone on disability and unfortunately far too many of
the cooking gigs I've had were off the books, meaning my income is greatly reduced for the moment. Luckily i have
awesome parents and they're allowing me to stay with them while I get back on my feet. Currently, finishing my BA so I can get off disability is my number one priority at the moment, then where I go from there, who knows.
